| Meet Vox Humana's New Frontman, Robbi Layne! |
|
 Straight from Newark, DE, Vox Humana is proud to introduce our NEW frontman: Robbi Layne!!
My name is Robbi Layne.
I am a rock N' roll drummer by birth, but currently am the lead vocalist for a kick-ass original and cover band named Vox Humana (www.voxhumanaband.com).
I am also a songwriter, producer, and the owner of Unity Sound Lab (a small project recording studio), as well as a private music instructor.
I have been in 2 all-original bands over the last 15 years and recorded 5 albums. I co-formed Face Of Humanity while in 10th grade, and then regretfully bowed out at the age of 21 to pursue more "grown up" dreams. Poor choice.
At 25 I moved up north to play drums for a pop-punk/radio rock band (whom shall remain nameless). We toured together and then they kicked me out. I say they didn't like Southerners. They said the pills I was taking made me a nutcase. We were both right (And for the record I am now clean).
I was so jaded after that experience that I sold all of my equipment except for an acoustic guitar. I then spent 8 months pursuing a career as a stand-up comedian in the Tri-State area. Nobody laughed. Silence is definitely not golden in a comedy club. I quit as fast as I began and returned to music.
I have gotten a few tattoo's along the way, recorded a few albums, caused quite a lot of chaos, and discovered a bit of truth about life. Until next time...*Robbi*Layne*.
